The right ear support has B&L Ray Ban U. 4 3/4 with Ray Ban in white on the right hand lens. BL engraved next to the hinge on each lens. These Ray Bans were one of the ealiest wraparound sunglasses giving a greater protecion against harmfull UV rays. They have straight arms allowing them to be put on whilst wearing a crash helmet. These are an iconic pair of Ray Bans and were. Famously worn by Peter Fonda in the 1969 cult film Easy Rider. Width bewteen hinges 145 mm. Distance from hinge to end of arm tips 1. I would consider these Ray Bans to be between large to medium size. Condition :- The arista gold frame is in very good condition with only slight signs of wear. The lenses are in scratch free condition. The arms are straight , the hinges tight and the nose supports hardly worn at all. They have been professionally ultrasonically cleaned. A fine pair of Ray Bans for a Ray Ban collector and quite rare. Delivered with a luxoticca Ray Ban case and in carefully prepared packaging. I have tried to describe the item as well as I can.
