Description :- Ray Ban. The World’s finest Sunglasses Vintage B&L U. Olympian II DLX Sunglasses with G15 grey/green 100% UV protection impact resistant lens.. The right arm has B&L Ray Ban U. BL engraved next to the hinge on each lens. These Ray Bans were one of the ealiest wraparound sunglasses giving a greater protecion against harmfull UV rays. They have straight arms allowing them to be put on whilst wearing a crash helmet. Size :- Width bewteen hinges 135 mm. Distance from hinge to end of arm tips 130 mm. I would consider these Ray Bans to be between large to medium size. The arista gold frame is in good condition with. The lenses are in scratch free condition. The arms are straight , the hinges tight and the nose supports hardly worn at all. The insides of the arms are worn somewhat probably due to poor stockage but obviously the wear is not visible whilst wearing these Ray Bans. They have been professionally ultrasonically cleaned. A fine pair of Ray Bans for a Ray Ban collector and. Hard , B&L cleaning cloth. Case and in carefully prepared packaging. I have tried to describe the item as well as I can. Later models do have BL engraved and in the 1980s Ray Ban was to be found on the right lens in an attempt to counteract imitations.
