L0255 Olympian I Deluxe Easy Rider Sunglasses with G15 grey/green 100% UV protection impact resistant lens.. The right ear support has B&L Ray Ban U. And the left L0255 YUAS. Ray Ban in white on the right hand lens. BL engraved next to the hinge on each lens and on the nose pads. These Ray Bans were one of the ealiest wraparound sunglasses giving a greater protecion against harmfull UV rays. They have straight arms allowing them to be put on whilst wearing a crash helmet. They were famously worn by Peter Fonda in the 1969 cult film Easy Rider. Size :- Width between hinges 145 mm. Distance from hinge to end of arm tips 120 mm. I would consider these Ray Bans to be between large to medium size. The arista gold frame is in very good condition with only slight signs of wear. The lenses are in scratch free condition. The arms are straight , the hinges tight and the nose supports hardly worn at all. They have been professionally ultrasonically cleaned. A fine pair of Ray Bans for a Ray Ban collector and.
