Description :- Vintage B&L U. Ray Ban W1394 Caravan. Sunglasses with G15 grey/green 100% UV protection. BL engraved next to the hinge on each lens. B&l Ray Ban U. On top bar and B&L Ray Ban 52 16 referring to the width of the lenses and the distance between them. They have straight arms allowing them to be put on and removed whilst wearing a crash helmet. They were famously worn. Robert Duvall in the Iconic 1979 film Apocalypse Now. Size :- Width bewteen hinges 130 mm. Distance from hinge to end of arm tips 140 mm. I would consider these Ray Bans to be between large to medium size. These Ray Bans are in as new condition and have never been worn. There is a slight discrepancy with the label which was probably used in the transition period between Ray Ban U. A fine pair of Ray Bans for a Ray Ban collector and.
