Ray Ban The Worlds Finest Sunglasses These are. Vintage Ray Ban B&L U. Ambermatic All-Weather Aviator Sunglasses circa 1960/70s. Ambermatic lenses that change colour depending upon sunlight conditions and temperature. Cold and sunny they become grey and hot and sunny they turn brown. This feature is inherent to the lenses and will never diminish. The upper side of the crossbar has B&L Ray Ban U. Contrary to popular believe L. Is not Long Isalnd company but refers to Ray Ban frames produced in Germany for the european market. BL engraved on the top of each lens. They have loop arms to insure security during sports use. These Ray Bans have been professionally refurbished and cleaned ultrasonically. They will be delivered in a carefull. Width bewteen hinges 140 mm. Distance from hinge to end of arm tips 1. Lens width 62 mm. These are large sized Ray Bans. The lens are in excellent condition with the frame showing very little signs of wear and oxidation. Have some slight loss or gold plating. These are my favourate lenses and can been worn for driving at night to cut down headlight glare. Vintage Ray Bans are. Very rare with the L. Frame and highly collectable. Delivered with their original vintage Ray Ban Ambermatic All-Weather Case, and in carefully prepared packaging. I have tried to describe the item as well as I can. Study the photographs well.
