Description :- Vintage Ray Ban B&L U. Leathers Top Gradient Changeable Shooter bullethole Aviator Sunglasses. These Ray Bans have changeable lenses that go from almost clear to a darker brown colour depending on sunlight conditions. They are also Top Gradient Mirror tinted becoming clearer towards the bottom of the lenses. The upper side of the crossbar has B&L Ray Ban U. BL engraved on the side of each lens with the Ray Ban logo in white on the right hand lens. These Ray Bans have been professionally refurbished and cleaned ultrasonically. They will be delivered in a carefullu prepared package with an original B&L Leathers hardcase. Width bewteen hinges 135 mm. Distance from hinge to end of arm tips 125 mm. Width of lenses 62 mm. These are large sized Ray Bans. These are a gently worn pair of Ray Bans with leathe inserts in very good condition. The lenses have no scratches. There is some slight oxidation around the central area of these Ray Bans but which is only noticeable upon close inspection. These are a very rare pair of Ray Bans and the first time I have come across this configuration over many years of collecting Ray Bans. I have had a question claiming the leather has been removed from part of the frame. This is not true. Vintage Ray Bans are becoming very collectable and a wise from of investment. Delivered with an original Leathers hardcase which is in excellent condition Study the photographs well. They say much more than words. Remember they are in high definition and the slightest defect will be exagerated. The Ray Bans you will receive will be far more pleasing to the eyes. Later models do have BL engraved and in the 1980s Ray Ban was to be found on the right lens in an attempt to counteract imitations.
